How to Play Survive.io: Establish, Guard, and Last


Survive.io is a defense survival game where you create a stronghold, gather resources, and defend against endless hordes of zombies. Can you construct a fortress sturdy enough to withstand the darkness?


Game Overview


Establish and Update Your Stronghold


  • Build a shelter by putting down a Treasure Chest (Hotkey 8).
  • Collect materials like wood and stone to erect defenses.
  • Upgrade your fortress to enhance its resistance against zombie assaults.


Guard Against Zombie Waves


  • Zombies spawn during the night and grow stronger with each wave.
  • Position turrets and defensive walls to safeguard your Treasure Chest.
  • Fortify your defenses by upgrading walls and turrets using treasure.


Earn Treasure and Purchase Items


  • Create Treasure Mines to generate income for upgrades.
  • Buy weapons and equipment from the shop (Press B).
  • Join forces with friends to construct a massive, fortified stronghold.


Game Controls


  • Move: WASD
  • Collect Resources: Left Click
  • Build Structures: Right Click
  • Open Shop: B
  • Place Treasure Chest (Start Stronghold): 8
  • Upgrade Stronghold: Use collected treasure to enhance structures.
